James Schlarmann Known Personalities: Beau McGriff, Chunky, Bacon-Bob James Schlarmann is 26 years old, and likes sketch comedy because it allows him to be somebody new. He likes puppy dogs and children's songs and sings them happily. He first started doing sketch comedy back in the 20th Century (circa 1999) with David in a troupe called Happy Bacon! Then he didn't do sketch comedy for almost three years. He first worked for The Insanities on their debut show as a sound engineer and producer of audio sketches. Later that year, he was asked to join the troupe. He did so willingly, though the hazing and subsequent "rape-in" was quite new to him...though still very erotic.
